WHAT: The Chicago Police Honor Guard will post a guard at the Gold Star
Families Memorial and Park for a 24-hour period in remembrance
and appreciation of the ultimate sacrifice made by the Chicago
Police Officers whose names appear on the memorial wall.
WHEN: TUESDAY
April 30, 2013
12:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.
3 p.m. – Ceremonial Wreath Laying by First Deputy
Superintendent Alfonza Wysinger
WHERE: Gold Star Families Memorial and Park
East of Soldier Field near 18th Street and Waldron Dr.
WHO: Members of the Chicago Police Department Honor Guard
NOTE: Honor Guard members will assist anyone who wishes to
place a wreath in front of the memorial fountain at any time
during this period
