Dallas: Detectives Seek assistance Suspect Finding Information Sought in Fatal Hit and Run

Suspect Information Sought in Fatal Hit and Run

Dallas Police Vehicle Crimes Squad Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in finding the suspect who struck Michael Anthony Love in the 5700 block of Marvin D. Love Freeway on April 20, 2013, at 2:08 am.

Love was assisting a stranded motorist who had run out of gas in the right lane of the northbound side of the freeway. Love was standing in the right lane of traffic pouring gas from a gas container into the stranded vehicle when the suspect, driving a silver car, struck Love and pinned him between the two vehicles. Love had pushed the driver of the stranded vehicle out of the way just seconds before he was struck by the suspect. Love was transported to Methodist Central hospital where he died from his injuries. The suspect fled in the silver vehicle without stopping to render aid.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver car. It will have a smashed windshield and a missing right side mirror from the accident.
