Heidi Klum saved seven year old son from rip tide
While on vacation in Hawaii with her children Leni, 8, Johan, 6, Henry, 7, Lou, 3 and bodyguard/boyfriend Martin Kirsten this past Easter. Heidi Klum had to come to the rescue of her son Henry and two nannies after a riptide swept them away. It was the nannies who originally went in after Klum’s son Henry but they were unsuccessful in their attempt. Leaving the supermodel to take matters into her own hands, so Klum along with her boyfriend entered the water and helped her son Henry and two nannies back to shore.
In a statement that Klum released to Us Weekly she said: “We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water. Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely.”
Before the near drowning incident Heidi tweeted a picture of Easter eggs along the beach with the caption, “Frohe Ostern…..Happy Easter!”
What’s next for Ms. Klum, the supermodel has signed on as the fourth judge for hit reality talent show America’s Got Talent.
“I’m really excited to join the panel of AGT to see it all from the ridiculous to the fantastic! I love the surprise element of the show and not knowing what we’ll see next and who will wow us,” Klum said of her signing on as a judge for America’s Got Talent.
