Hillary Clinton to Make First Paid Speech
After leaving her State Department post, Hillary Clinton signed on with the Harry Walker Agency which seeks speaking engagements for their clients. A source reported to CNN that she will speak before the National Multi Housing Council in Dallas on April 24. The group represents apartment rental agencies.
The dollar amount she will be paid has not been disclosed, but she is expected to receive sex figured sums for her appearances.
She is speaking at two unpaid events this week, the Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards in Washington and the Women in the World Summit in New York.
She is also in the early stages of writing a book about her experiences in the State Department.
Her speaking engagements will keep her in the public eye, an important position if she plans to seek the Democratic Party’s nomination for president in 2016.
As of today, April 1st, three more Super PACs have been created for Ms. Clinton. Support appears to be growing for the former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State.
Polls already show that she would defeat any supposed Republican. Surely she would be the most qualified candidate, with experience in every vital area needed to be an effective leader in the White House.
Polls also show that America is ready for a female President. Favorability numbers for most male politicians are at an all-time low. Ms. Clinton is exactly the opposite. She has twice been voted the most popular political figure in the United States.
