Heat Dominate Series with Milwaukee Bucks
By the end of the third quarter in the playoff game between the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Miami Heat, the series may have been decided.
LeBron James scored 7 of his 22 points at the end of the third quarter, and Miami won 104-91, giving them a 3-0 lead in the best of seven series. The defending champions appear to be in complete control. No NBA team has ever come back from being behind three games to none and won a series.
Ray Allen led the Heat with 23 points, and his five 3-pointers gave him the NBA career playoff record with 322. Chris Bosh added 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Heat, who have won 11 straight dating to the regular season. Dwyane Wade scored only four points, but he had 11 assists.
The Heat can close out the series with a win Sunday.
In other NBA news, with consecutive losses, the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, and Atlanta Hawks were defeated for the second time on Wednesday evening, putting them in jeopardy of losing the first round. The San Antonio Spurs, the Oklahoma Thunder, and the Indiana Pacers are in control of their destiny.
