For fans of the morning news show Good Morning America, some may have wondered where has morning anchor Robin Roberts been lately. The morning TV host has been absent from the show due to a health setback, an infection to be exact and Robin as well as her doctors are assuring fans that it is not due to her speedy comeback to the show.

Instead the Good Morning America host has said, “My doctors assured me that this was NOT because I was working or doing too much, too soon. It’s extremely common, post bone marrow transplant, to have complications. I’m blessed that mine have not been severe.”

Robin also in her Facebook post stated, “Seems my young immune system needed a little boost to fight off ‘opportunistic infections.'”

Robin Roberts began to feel not so well while on vacation in the Key West, stating that “Last week, in the middle of my Key West vacation, I began not to feel well. Nothing serious, just under the weather. I contacted my doctors and flew back to NYC. They felt it best to admit me into the hospital for a few days.”

According to her Facebook post, Robin is home resting and hopes to return to work next week, the Good Morning America host also said that she is feeling much better.
