Charlie Sheen’s tiger blood also in Carlos Estevez’s veins?

Sheen morphs again, now it's back to basics.

Charlie Sheen and Sofia Vergara

Carlos Estevez formally known as the man with tiger blood who is always winning and likes to have not only one girlfriend but two goddesses: Charlie Sheen. He decided to change his name to the original one, at least for now, to be shown on the credit roll of his upcoming movie ” Machete Kills”. (According to several sources.) He also admits as to having Latin blood running through his veins, whenever the tiger has quieted down.

Ramón Gerardo Antonio Estévez or better known as Martin sheen or even better known as that cool guy president with MS who did a better job governing the country than any real president has ever done. Fun fact is that Carlos or tiger Charlie is also going to portray an American president in this movie albeit probably a bit different from his father’s West Wing one.  Charlie or Carlos will ask Danny Trejo/ Machete Cortez to ”battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who seeks to launch a weapon into space,” as reported by IMDB.

The movie is a fun mix of Latinos/Latinas and colorful characters like Lady Gaga, Mel Gibson and Vanessa Hudgens to name a few. The hottie latina roles will be portrayed by Modern family’s Sofia Vergara, former Lostie Michelle Rodriguez, all so boiling hot in the Fast and the furious 6 and sizzling “Sin city” hot stuff Jessica Alba. Antonio Banderas will bring some of his native Spanish “duende” to the mix and he can tell Charlie/Carlos all about the birth place of the Estevez grand father Francisco Estévez who came from the North of Spain. (Galicia to be exact. To be even more exact Antonio is from the South, form Malaga and those parts of the country are very different. However Antonio can at least spark the interest of the Estevez family to one day pay a visit to their country of origin.)

Cuba Gooding Jr, the actor from “Show me the money” or better known as Jerry Maguire, Amber heard, part of Zombieland and Demián Bichir, the one from weeds, will also be part of this crazy fun sparks flying and fiery bunch.

Why did Martin sheen, Charlie’s father, decide to change his name in the first place?

This is what Ramón/Martin had to say about that: ”I thought, I got enough problems trying to get an acting job, so I invented Martin Sheen, It’s still Estevez officially. I never changed it officially. I never will. It’s on my driver’s license and passport and everything. I started using Sheen, I thought I’d give it a try, and before I knew it, I started making a living with it and then it was too late. In fact, one of my great regrets is that I didn’t keep my name as it was given to me. I knew it bothered my dad.”

And why did Charlie Sheen change it back?

The real reason stays hidden for now. Charlie wasn’t available for comment, and if he was it might not have been that illuminating. For now we can speculate that it’s because the director of ” Machete Kills” wanted him to return to his Spanish roots or maybe Charlie was just tired of always being Charlie Sheen. In any case it will be interesting to see what he has to say about it.

At least one of the Estevezes never tried to change anything about his name or heritage and that’s Charlie’s brother Emilio part of the eighties brat pack and widely known for his role on the breakfast club.

Emilio is the oldest of the Estevez/Sheen siblings and he wanted to accomplish everything on his own, without using his father’s famous yet fictional name to open doors for him. He also thought the double “E” set of initials was “pretty.”

Do you think they should have stayed true to their roots or do you prefer their stage names?

There’s at least one other brother named Ramon who used to look a lot like Emilio. Ramon was in Cadence with Martin and Charlie.
