With the news that Vin Diesel’s next instalment in the Fast & Furious franchise has already been approved for release next year, we got pretty excited. So excited in fact, that we wondered if anyone else was too. So the question we’re asking is this, “Fast & Furious 7, how excited are you that it’s happening next year?”
Sure, Fast & Furious 6 might still be on its Memorial Day weekend debut and the jury is out on whether the film is going to be breaking any box office records just yet. But the one thing that everyone knows for certain is the next film in the franchise has already gotten the green light to be released next year.
Now while no one knows what the plot for the new film is, we do know that Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, and Sang Kang will all be back in the new film. So far so good. Right? Well its just gotten better because “mega-action” star Jason Statham is also joining the cast for Fast & Furious 7.
The very fact that Fast & Furious 7 has already been “pre-approved” and that they’ve already got their “main” cast list picked out has got to mean that a plot isn’t too far behind. How excited are you now, knowing that literally just over a month from now they are going to do it all again. Before the smoking wreckage from 6 has cooled down.
Because since we know that the estimated release date is July 11, 2014 and that the film will start shooting in August this year we think that knowledge alone is worth an increase in our adrenaline flow. But the addition of having James Wan signed up to direct has also got us pretty excited.
If the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because James brought us Saw, Dead Silence, and Insidious. Universal Studios have already announced the film as a fact and we’re waiting anxiously to see who else will be added to the F & F mix. As for James, We can’t wait to see what he brings to the Fast & Furious blacktop.
So how about it? Are you just as excited as we are? Or have you decided that it’s time for Vin and his gang to really retire for good. Maybe you think that this is the best it is ever going to get and that they’ll never top it.
Honestly, can they top what they’ve just done? We cannot wait to see if the series is going to shift into an even higher gear or if they’ll find out that Fast and Furious 6 was their last hurrah.
Let us know, just click on the one of the answers in our poll and tell us how you feel about it. There is nothing to win, it’s just for fun. Besides we want to know if we’re the only ones who are excited by the prospect of a Fast & Furious 7.
So, in case you’ve forgotten the question, “Since you know that Fast and Furious 7 is going to be out next year, how excited are you?”
