Machete Kills Trailer and Charlie Sheen is Carlos Estevez (Video)

Machete Kills new video

Danny Trejo is back as Machete in the new Robert Rodriquez film, Machete kills and if you pay close attention the President in the video isn’t Charlie Sheen, it’s Carlos Estevez.

Last week the whole world learned of Charlie Sheen’s much publicised return to his roots when he announced that he would be credited in the new Machete movie under the name of Estevez like his brother Emilio.

Now either Charlie is trying to please pop, who has always maintained that he wishes he’d started in the business as an Estevez and not a Sheen. Or, it is a definite return to his family history. Or he could be doing it just for the film.

Regardless of why Sheen is now Estevez, we are more than excited by the roster of talent that will be in the film with Trejo. Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Jessica Alba, Antonio Banderas, Vanessa Hudgens Cuba Gooding Jr, Sofía Vergara, heck, it seems like most of Hollywood is in the movie.

Of course Trejo is back as the ex Federale weapon on two legs.

We aren’t sure what the plot is apart from what has been put up on IMDb; The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space. So according to IMDb anyway, it’s about space, sort of.

Machete in space? Sounds too good to be true, but we didn’t spot any spacemen; or rockets; or space for that matter, but we’ve only seen the trailer about twelve or fifteen times. We also watched the teaser that Rodriquez and Trejo did in Spanish, but there was no sign of space stuff there either.

So have a look at the new Machete Kills trailer and tell us if you can spot Charlie Sheen parading as Carlos Estevez and if you can see any space items. If you do? Let us know. Meanwhile we’ll just watch Jessica Alba again because when you’ve got her, and Amber Heard, who needs space?
