Tornado Devastates Oklahoma City Suburb

The Iowa, Oklahoma, and Kansas area continue to be hit by severe storms.  Monday afternoon a suburb of Oklahoma City was devastated by a tornado.

The mile-wide funnel cloud pass through Moore, Oklahoma, leaving houses in rubble, and cars twisted and crushed.  Aerial video shows complete destruction of many homes, leaving only debris in their place.

Some cars were thrown all over the highway north and south of the town.

Moore was previously hit by a tornado in 1999 which recorded the highest winds ever measured on the earth’s surface.

So far, there have been no reports of injury.
