Fast and Furious 6 just hit theatres this Friday (May 24) but the talk of Fast and Furious 7 has already began. With Universal already announcing the film’s release date, July 11, 2014, new director and that the film is expected to begin production this summer. As for who will all be returning for Fast 7, Universal is keeping quiet for now but one of the film’s original cast, Vin Diesel did say that Fast 7 will return to the streets of Los Angeles. Los Angeles is where the Fast and Furious franchise begin, so it is only fitting that the franchise return to it’s roots.

During the preimere for Fast and Furious 6 at Universal CityWalk in Universal City this past week, Vin Diesel told the crowd: “I told the Universal people there was no way we were not having a Los Angeles premiere. One other thing: For Fast & Furious 7 we are bringing it back to Los Angeles!”

Also, director Justin Lin will not be returning to the director chair Fast 7. Universal has given the directing job to ‘Insedious’ director James Wan. Justin Lin who directed every Fast and Furious film since Toyko Drift will not be returning for Fast 7.

Fans of this mega hit fracnhise can expect Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to both possibly return but Universal in not wanting to spoil the plot are keeping quiet on who all will return.

Fast and Furious 6 in theaters worldwide now!

Fast & furious 6 was a great move I would like if you and every else to put all taps of cars like sport cars and more action like a running car in fire , they make there own car and some robot so they can spy on the bad guys that would be a fantastic move and that fantastic move will be called fast & furious 7!!!

fast 6 was great movie and i think it would only be right to have the whole cast back in los angeles for the 7th movie and have hon come back later in the movie with a burnt face, and have brians son old enough that he can start either working on cars with dom and brian or start driving and being part of the toretto family. this is a great series and they should keep making more fast and furiouses because it is a great success
