In a day that has been full of news about Aaron Hernandez and the homicide victim found one mile from his home, that the police are still questioning him about, it turns out that Aaron’s girlfriend has a connection to the dead man. Her sister dated him. The victim has been identified as 27 year-old Odin Lloyd who, all three of the young people allegedly knew.
Aaron Hernandez’s girlfriend (and the mother of their child, Avielle Janelle who was born in November of 2012) Shayanna Jenkins, has a very direct connection as her sister was allegedly dating Odin Lloyd at the time of his death according to the local news.
The identify of Shayanna Jenkins’ sister has not yet been released. There is no information on Facebook, Twitter, or on Myspace which gives her sister’s name.
Odin Lloyd was found dead one mile from Aaron Hernandez’s home. Shortly after, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that there was a female link between Odin Lloyd and Aaron Hernandez. Peter Wilson, then reportied that female link is the two sisters.
On Twitter Peter Wilson tweeted, “Family of Odin Lloyd tells WBZ-TV that Lloyd dated the sister of Aaron Hernandez’s girlfriend.”
Odin Lloyd’s dead body was found by a jogger on Monday morning and according to family members, who spoke to 7News, the 27 year-old Odin Lloyd was a semi-professional football player with the Boston Bandits. The same witness told news earlier today that Lloyd, was found “shot somewhere else and dumped here” near Aaron’s home.
Along with the revelation that the victim was known by Aaron Hernandez and his girlfriend, is the news that the Massachusetts State Police have returned to the home of the New England Patriots tight end for a second day and reports have just surfaced that Hernandez is being sued for allegedly shooting another man in the face in Miami in February.
On the Tuesday, after police initially searched inside the house, they left with several items; one of which was a computer. An unidentified woman drove up to the house on Wednesday morning in a White SUV with a Hernandez license plate on it.
The District Attorney’s office has relayed that they should have some new information to release sometime on Wednesday. The Patriots organisation have released a statement saying they’re aware of what is going on.
According to Boston media, Hernandez hasn’t been ruled out as a suspect in the homicide case where a dead body was found less than a mile from his home.
With the news that Odin Lloyd was shot, it becomes apparent that more than one connection exists between even Hernandez and the dead man. TMZ uncovered information that Hernandez is reportedly facing a lawsuit from an incident in February when he allegedly shot a man in the face. Sports Illustrated have also confirmed the existence of the alleged lawsuit.
TMZ says that the man filing the lawsuit, Alexander Bradley, has claimed that he went to a Miami strip club with Hernandez on Feb. 13 and at some point, an argument broke out between the two men.
Hernandez and Bradley left the club in the same car. The argument continued while the two were in the vehicle and at some point during the drive, Hernandez allegedly aimed a gun at Bradley and the gun discharged, hitting Bradley in the face.
Bradley claims to have suffered numerous injuries as well as losing his right eye. The lawsuit also claims Bradley had to undergo major reconstructive surgery to his face. Alexander Bradley is seeking more than $100,000 in damages.
The lawsuit against Aaron Hernandez for the alleged shooting was initially filed in Florida on June 13, but was dropped four days later due to a paperwork problem. According to TMZ, Bradley’s legal team is expected to refile the suit on Wednesday.
This new information about Aaron Hernandez’s girlfriend, Shayanna Jenkins’ knowing the victim and her sister dating the dead man, Odin Lloyd, adds more speculative fuel to the fire. Especially with the added news that Aaron has allegedly shot someone before. The cumulative evidence begins to paint a very grim picture for the Patriots player.
