Atlanta Police Homicide Investigators have released video of two men considered to be suspects in the below homicide. Two arrests have been made in this case but as part of the ongoing investigation Investigators are asking for help in identifying these men.
Information on the incident.
On 6-13-2013 around 6:30pm officers responded to a person shot call in the area of Parsons St and Webster St in Southwest Atlanta. Upon arrival officers found a motor vehicle accident and found the driver, who appeared to be in his early to mid twenties, appeared to have been shot multiple times and was deceased on scene. A second occupant of the vehicle sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and is in stable condition at Grady Hospital. Witnesses reported a possible third occupant that left the scene on foot and may have been injured. The preliminary investigation indicates that a suspect approached and fired multiple times into the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene in a separate vehicle. Atlanta Police Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and are investigating this shooting.
The Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit is conducting a thorough investigation of this incident in order to bring the perpetrators to justice. At this time, the preliminary investigation appears to indicate that the victims were targeted, and this was not a random incident.
