“On 6-1-2013 I (Officer McDonald) was dispatched to 2841 Greenbriar pkwy at the Cleopatra’s hair salon, regarding a runaway juvenile. Once on scene I (Officer McDonald) met Ms. Gary Emily Watkins. Ms. Watkins advised that she is the grandmother to Ms. Tylina Barnett and has full custody of her. Ms. Watkins stated that yesterday (5-31-2013) her granddaughter left the mall without telling her anything.
Ms. Watkins advised that her mother followed her and saw her get into a black sedan with a male. Ms. Watkins advised that her granddaughter has ran away several times in the past. Ms. Watkins said Ms. Tylina Barnett is Bi-polar and has ADHD. Ms. Watkins advised that Ms. Tylina Barnett was last seen wearing a black shirt, white shorts, and red and white nike shoes.
Ms. Watkins also advised that Ms. Tylina is 16 years old, about 5’2 in height, about 120 pounds, brown skin black female, brown and red long hair, and has a tattoo of “Bad Ass” going across her chest. Ms. Watkins advised that she called her granddaughter and that she picked up and hung up and now she does not even answer the phone. Also Ms. Watkins advised that she does not know where her granddaughter could be and does not know her hang out locations. I (Officer McDonald) spoke with Ms. Tylina’s mother, Sabine Barnett.
Ms. Sabine Barnett advised that while she was visiting her daughter, they were at the mall and that she was behind Ms. Tylina walking out towards the parking lot thinking that she was walking to her vehicle. Ms. Sabine Barnett stated that she called her named and that she act like she did not hear her and got into a black four door vehicle, looking like a newer model Volkswagen with a black male.
Ms. Sabine Barnett advised that she does not know about her daughters run away history and does not keep in touch that much. Ms. Sabine Barnett advised that she called her daughter and that Ms. Tylina advised her that she was going to call her grandmother to tell her where she was, but never did. Zone 4 supervisor 2494 and youth squad 4225 were notified about the incident. Also a look out was given over radio and the report was faxed to central records.”
Since this report was taken the child returned home to her grandmother’s home in Fulton County but then ran off again.
