The 35 member squad of the Buffalo Jills were out and about through Western New York as the Jills and Tim Hortons teamed up to raise money for Tim Horton’s “Send a Kid to camp fundraising campaign.
The Buffalo Bills haven’t had much success on the field in recent years, but off the field they have absolutely been a great organization as they are always involved with off fundraising campaigns. That was the case again Wednesday as all 35 members of the squad scattered throughout Western New York to help raise money for the campaign. According to Tim Horton’s website, last year the campaign raised $11 million.
Tim Hortons is a very popular doughnut and coffee shop here in the North East. Here in Buffalo, N.Y. it’s so popular that there are about as many Tim Hortons as there is McDonalds. Also, for a while there were no Dunkin Doughnuts.
I got to give these girls some credit as they were up very early for this. I arrived at the Tim Hortons on Camp Road in Hamburg, N.Y. at 7:00 a.m. and Kelsey was already in full gear standing there in 50 degree weather.
All the money raised will go to help send economically challenged children to camp. If you kike to make a donation text CAMP to 41518.
Hopefully a lot of money will be raised as it is for such a good cause.
