About This Crime
On Monday, June 10, 2013, at approximately 6:00 pm, a teal-colored Pontiac Montana minivan struck two pedestrians. These pedestrians were crossing the roadway in the 6400 block of South Paulina Avenue at the time of the incident. As a result of the crash, both pedestrians sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. The striking vehicle and its occupants then fled the scene of the crash without identifying themselves.
Further investigation rendered a male “person of interest” who is currently being questioned by police. Chicago Police are seeking help from the community in obtaining more information regarding this accident.
