Detectives Seek Potential Additional Victims

On May 7, 2013 LVMPD officers responded to the 1500 block of North Vegas Boulevard to investigate a report of unauthorized withdrawals from a debit containing social security funds. The victim frequently resides at this locationDetectives Seek Potential Additional Victims and requested the card be sent to his case worker at Catholic Charities.

When the victim called to check the balance on the card he learned the account had been accessed the day before and funds withdrawn from the account. investigation conducted by LVMPD fraud detectives resulted in the arrest of 41 year-old Omar Driver of Las Vegas. Driver was employed with Catholic Charities and was the victim’s case worker.

He was arrested and charged with: Burglary, Possession of a credit card without owner’s consent, and Fraudulent use of a credit card (2 counts).
