Kate Middleton Hypnotic Child Delivery

Kate Middleton Hypnotic Child Delivery
“You’re feeling very, very sleepy.” That’s a phrase that Kate Middleton, aka the Duchess of Cambridge will may soon be hearing if she decides to follow through with her hypnotic child delivery plans.

Just like any new mom-to-be the 31 year-old wife of Prince William, aka the Duke of Cambridge and son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana more than like is a little concerned about the rigours and pain of childbirth. Some sources are reporting that the very pregnant royal has considered “HypnoBirth” as a method to ease the pain associated with childbirth.

At least that is what The Times magazine Grazia is reporting. A source told Grazia that Kate Middleton has been researching various birthing methods. Apparently she is a huge fan of natural childbirth, so HypnoBirthing is one option that appealed and she has been reading up on it and listening to “HypnoBirth” CDs to get into the right frame of mind.”

The source went on to say that, “Some of her friends have used this method and swear by it. Kate wants to do it her way and be relaxed.”

Jessica Alba planned a HypnoBirth for her second child. The 32 year-old actress and star explained the whole thing to Ellen DeGeneres. Alba said, “It’s not like a weird thing.”

She went on to explain, “It’s basically my husband takes me through sort of a meditation. So he’s like saying, ‘You’re relaxed and you’re floating on clouds,’ while you’re going through labor and your contractions. He just sort of does a guided meditation. I’m just concentrating on breathing and staying relaxed because it’s when you get tense that makes the whole labor worse and more painful. That’s all it is.”

We don’t know who the Duchess of Cambridge will use for her hypnotherapist if she decides that those relaxing CDs just aren’t hacking it. Perhaps she should give Derren Brown a call. If Kate Middleton is having a hypnotic child delivery, why not get a cracking hypnotist to help you on the day?

Derren Brown is a 42 year-old British illusionist, mentalist, trickster, hypnotist, painter, writer, and sceptic. He is very well known for his appearances in television specials, stage productions, and British television series such as Trick of the Mind and Trick or Treat.

Since the first broadcast of his show Derren Brown: Mind Control in 2000, Brown has become increasingly well known for his mind-reading act. He has written books for magicians as well as the general public. Now the mind reading bit may not be what Middleton needs but he is a pretty top-notch hypnotist.

In 2012 Derren Brown produced a television mini-series called, appropriately enough, Derren Brown: Apocalypse. The premise of the show was that he hypnotised an everyday chap and made him believe that he was in a real-life zombie apocalypse. The show was a massive hit, and if he can do that sort of thing, we’re sure that Kate may want to give him a call.

But zombie apocalypse aside, the palace told E! News via a statement that they, “are aware of the report but cannot confirm or deny it.” The palace also said in the statement that, “We appreciate it’s a happy occasion, but there are some matters which should remain private to the duchess.”

So whether the news that Kate Middleton is going to have a natural hypnotic child delivery is true or not, we still think she should give hypnotist Derren Brown a call. Who knows? Having a zombie apocalypse to distract you, may just make the pain of childbirth that little bit easier to bear.

I think it is great that Kate is doing all she can to help with her childbirth. I’ve also read that she has almost quit coffee, quit spray tans and is replacing much of her usual exercise routine with yoga.
