And she was doing so well! Lindsay Lohan looked set to keep with the “program” at the Betty Ford Center, but according to sources, Lindsay is leaving because of problems. These problems have not been specified, but as her move has been approved by authorities, they must be valid. Could these problems be spelt, B*r*o*o*k*e M*e*u*l*l*e*r?
Just when 27 year-old Lohan seemed to be making real progress in her court-ordered rehab, it has been revealed that the actress has had “several problems” while she was in lock-down at California’s Betty Ford Center. She is now on the move to get her rehab problems sorted somewhere else.
Sources have revealed that the District Attorney has already approved the move and on Thursday Lindsay has been relocated to Cliffside Malibu who boast an “unmatched record of success.”
In March this year, Lindsay pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges stemming from her June 2012 car accident. The charges included reckless driving and providing false information to a police officer. She was sentenced to 90 days in a lock down rehabilitation center; 30 days of community service, and 18 months of mandated psychotherapy.
But no one wants to reveal what problems the actress might be having at the Center, at least, not right now. Lohan’s attorney Shawn Holley; the Santa Monica District Attorney’s office, and the Betty Ford Center were not immediately available for comment.
So Lindsay Lohan has made her move, she’s been on about leaving the Betty Ford Center since she threw her toys out of her pram over the issue of her Adderall. We don’t know if she complained about her issues with Brooke Meuller or not.
But if the move is to get around her Adderall problem since Betty Ford won’t let the actress take the ADHD medication, as she is too old and it is used as a highly addictive diet pill, she may just be out of luck. Word is that the Cliffside won’t allow her to have it there either.
We wondered if the “problems” had to do with Charlie Sheen’s (or should we say Carlos Estevez’s) ex, Brooke Meuller? Reports were, that Meuller was trying to get all pally with Lohan, but the red-head was having none of it. She even went so far as to call poor Brooke a “druggie!”
We won’t go into the whole pot and kettle routine, but suffice to say, birds of a feather do flock together and Brooke was just seeking out a familiar face in the Center. But Lindsay was avoiding her like the plague and, according to sources, thought that Mueller’s constant attempts at friendship were getting a bit “weird.”
Although the 36 year-old actress and ex-wife of Sheen/Estevez doesn’t have as long to spend at the clinic as Lohan, she did get her family visits cut off. Lohan only lost one family supportive visit and that was through no fault of her own. That was caused by her battling parents.
But possible Brooke Meuller problems aside, sources say that Lindsay is pleased about the move. The court authorities feel that she’ll benefit from moving rehab clinics and that the Cliffside in Malibu, California will suit her nicely for the remainder of her sentence.
Sources have also said that Lohan is already settling into her new digs at Cliffside. We wonder how long it will be before she starts demanding her Adderall at the new clinic. Of course the news that Lindsay Lohan is leaving the Betty Ford Center could just prompt Brooke to try and follow suit. Now that would be a little weird.
