It has been nearly a year since pop child star and Roc Nation artist Willow Smith released any new music and nearly three years since she released her hit single ‘Whip my Hair.’ Now, the youngest of the Smith family has formed a new band, matured her sound and released a brand new track called ‘The Intro.’ To no surprise she has already grabbed the attention of critics and received great reviews for her newly formed band and sound. It seems Willow has grown a bit since her debut and release of ‘Whip My Hair,’ ’21st Century Girl’ and ‘Fireball.’
Willow who has taken a different approach to music, as dad Will and brother Jaden have remained true to hip hop, elder brother Trey who produces house style music and mom Jada who in the past has performed with heavy metal band Wicked Wisdom. Willow has chosen to stay pop but in her new sound she has a bit more deeper sound and seems to have grown with her music. Making fans now more than ever anxious to hear the full four track EP.
Willow along with her newly formed band Melodic Chaotic are making way to release a brand new EP which will feature four brand new tracks and will have Willow singing as Melodic and her bandmate DJ Fabrega as Chaotic. The four track EP is slated for a summer release and the group recently released it’s lead single ‘The Intro.’

Also, in a recent video released a few weeks ago, Willow and bandmate DJ Fabrega while in the studio took some time out to let the fans in on what they have been working on and what to expect from their upcoming four track EP which is expected this summer (July.)
To keep up with what Willow (Melodic) or DJ Fabrega (Chaotic) are doing fans can follow the two on their own perspective twitters’. Also, rumor has it that mom Jada Pinkett-Smith will be featured on one of the tracks. If that is true or not fans will just have to wait and see when the EP is released this summer.
