Hillary Clinton, Benghazi and Why She will Never be President

After the Reagan years, it seems that Republican presidential candidates manage to run distinctly lackluster campaigns, almost completely devoid of both passion and conviction. By contrast, Democratic contenders are full of bluster and rhetoric and several of them, in recent years, have managed to spectacularly burn down their own campaigns with inappropriate outbursts or by making highly dubious claims: The pouting of Al Gore, during his debates with George W. Bush; the Howard Dean scream and the ‘swiftboating’ of John Kerry, following his touting of his own questionable experiences during the Viet Nam War. There is a good reason why Hillary Clinton will never be President of the United States: Just as Kerry was ‘swiftboated’, so Clinton – should she win the Democratic nomination to succeed Obama – is destined to get ‘Benghazied’.

Whilst the mainstream media continues to ignore the fallout from Obama’s and Clinton’s refusal to rescue four Americans, including US Ambassador Stevens, from a terrorist attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, last year and whilst the President has the audacity to describe that fallout as a “phony” scandal, Clinton’s incompetency, inaction and certain words – later spoken in front of a Congressional hearing – will come back to haunt her.

“What difference, at this point, does it make?”

When Clinton spoke these words, in a nauseating display of faux outrage, she was referring to the reason behind the attack against the consulate. The lie put out by Clinton, the Obama administration and now Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice, was that the attack on the Benghazi Consulate was the end result of a spontaneous protest by ordinary Libyans, outraged over a short You Tube video that was critical of Islam. Although the administration now flat-out denies that they propagated this deception, the recorded statements and interviews do not lie; Susan Rice – the useful idiot du jour – was sent out for days after the Benghazi incident to tell everyone that it was the video that lead to the attack, which resulted in the Murder of Ambassador Stevens and three other brave Americans.

The facts later emerged; that the attack was, in reality, a pre-planned assault; that, once commenced, the attack lasted several hours; that President Obama was informed of the attack shortly after it began and promptly went to bed, as he had a big day the next day – fundraising in Las Vegas, NV. Additional facts are that Hillary Clinton, then Secretary of State, did absolutely nothing for the entire seven hours, during which Chris Stevens and the other American personnel fought for survival. Additionally, a rescue team that could have reached Libya in time to intervene was ordered to stand down.

The entire episode was treated with a level of complacency by the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton’s State Department that can only be described as criminal. Since the attack, the administration has lied, attempted to withhold facts and is, even now, doing all it can to prevent the survivors of the attack from speaking about how events unfolded. Four Americans – who could, and should – have been rescued, were abandoned and left to die on foreign soil and an American Consulate was burned down.

“What difference, at this point, does it make?”

Hillary Clinton will never be President because of what happened in Benghazi. She will never be allowed to forget those words.

Barack Obama was destined to be President, I believe. We have all paid a price for that, but things are about to become far worse. Hillary Clinton – if there is any justice – is destined for nothing more than a jail cell.

Actually John Kerry was successfully swift boated because most Americans hadn’t formed an opinion of him yet, and Republicans were viewed as much better on national defense than Democrats back then. On the contrary, everyone has formed an opinion of Hillary Clinton and Republicans are no longer viewed as better on national defense. Interesting how the scandal hasn’t really affected Hillary’s popularity that much, and yet you think that it will affect her popularity three years down the road when Benghazi is a distant memory. Laughable. You must be the same kind of Republican who thought Romney would win in a landslide.

I am not a Republican. However; Clinton is responsible for the deaths of four Americans and there are millions of people in this country – I being one of them – who will never let the American public forget it. If you think no-one will remember Benghazi by 2016 (which shows that you, yourself, don’t care about what happened there), then you are mistaken. You’ll be seeing commercials on television every day, recounting what happened, mark my words.

I’m in no doubt, whatsoever, that if the Benghazi incident had happened on Bush’s watch, then you – and every other Liberal in this country – would be screaming for heads to roll…and you would be right to do so.

Why do Liberals overlook every transgression by Democratic politicians, but display such outrage every time a Republican or Conservative so much as sneezes?

      Is it, perhaps…..hypocrisy?
