Since time and music began, as far back as we can uncover instruments and find record of musical verse, the standard pitch for music has always been attuned to 432 hertz. This has been true until less than one hundred years ago. Today, the standard concert pitch for music in the western world is A= 440 hertz, the strange thing is – there is absolutely nothing harmonious either bodily or cosmically with this particular pitch, so why do we use it? If we look at the diameter of the sun, the moon and other forces in the cosmos such as the procession of the equinoxes, the Fibonacci spiral, etc, we see an underlying mathematical sequence that is harmonious and attuned to the number 432 – should this be what dictates our musical tuning – as in ancient times?
Since the times of the ancient Chinese Empire, the mystical teachings of Sufism, Yoga, Buddhism, Pythagoras and the Greeks, the musical frequency of A=432 hertz has been the standard- as it was known to hit the full 12 scale octave of overtones. The 440 hertz that we use today only touches 8 octaves and became ‘standard’ worldwide as recently as the year 1955. What is the meaning of this? And why did we switch?
The Emperor of China knew that if music was attuned differently in various regions, it would cause neighboring people to go to war with each other. As an enforcement of law, music was standardized in ancient China to 432 hertz so the people would be in harmony. In the time of Pythagoras and his university, where he taught the ‘music of the spheres’, 432 hertz was known to be the frequency fundamental to the cosmos and movement of the planets – like a dance.
If you look at ratios present in the natural world, such as the average number of heartbeat per minute, which is 60 beats, and multiply it by 60 minutes per hour and 24 hours per day you get 86, 400 – which is 43,200 x 2. The procession of the equinoxes is 25,920 years – which is the equivalent of 432 x 60 (our standard measurement of time). Even professional golf balls are made with specifically 432 dimples for “optimal harmonic performance.” There are many more examples of the number 432 present in nature – as shown in part one of this four part video: Cosmic 432:
Apparently, in Nazi Germany, measures were taken to discover how best to set human minds against one another. The realization that switching musical frequencies by just a bit could cause chaos and disharmony between people may be one reason for this change in music. If you look back to music in the times of Mozart and Vivaldi – which is still heralded today as good for harmonizing the brain hemispheres and stimulating intellect (such as in ‘the Mozart effect’)- we see 432 hertz frequency was the standard concert pitch.
The recent public disclosure of the vibratory/oscillatory nature of the universe indicates that the current de facto international concert pitch A=440Hz may possibly generate an unhealthy effect or anti-social behavior in the consciousness of human beings.
A=440hz as a standard for concert pitch possibly may bring an unnatural 8 Hz dissonant change in how we think.
Our inner ear for example works on the basis of Phi dampening. The waters of our inner ears rely on Fibonacci spiral dampening through the seashell like structure of the cochlea to keep us feeling centered or grounded. This Fibonacci spiral shape helps cancel out certain inertial standing wave interference patterns, like a Helmholtz resonator, in order to keep us properly balanced with the natural environment around us. When the inner ear is in stress by artificial means, we can experience a type of “fog like” condition or feel “spaced out”.
The natural Phi shape of the cochlea can be found planet wide in a majority natural organic based life.
It is said, by those who study music and it’s effects on the body, that the 432 hertz frequency aids in healing because it resonates with the forces of the universe- of which we are a part. It is “a pure tone of math fundamental to nature.” The 432 hertz seems to give listeners ‘greater clarity’ than 440 hertz, and can therefore be played at a lower volume. Some say the 440 hertz to which we are familiar, represents stuffed emotions and blocked energy – doesn’t that sound like the world we live in?
What if our very DNA was being affected by the music we are listening to, contributing to illness, aging and death because of the in harmonic resonance it is constantly receiving? According to sources, this is exactly true:
Those DNA helixes are musical instruments that are constantly receiving MHz of electricity and the audial currents, which require sound. If that sound is dis-harmonic, a DNA starts to resonate to external disharmonies. Should the external resonating tune sources, in a person of old age that has their DNA viruses resonating to the outside, become harmonic (such as a 432 Hz based music, with all of the over- and undertones of 432) — then the DNA viruses will remember their coherent PHI-like spiral shape And possibly form of regeneration, Since 8 Hz in DNA replication has been described by Scientific American (March 1965, p 28), to be behaving as a room temperature superconductor, the use of sound may enable such genetic alchemy.
The diameter of the sun, the moon and other cosmic forces all point to one frequency, 432 hertz – should this commonality in nature be dictating the proper tuning of music as in times past? It seems the implementation of the 440 hertz frequency, as used today, is fairly infantile and immature in both reasoning and cosmic order. If we are to tune into life to discover the ‘secrets’ of the cosmos, perhaps we ought to be paying attention to that which ties together all forms of science – vibration. Here is some music played in 432 hertz – play it and notice how you feel. What are your thoughts on the 432 hertz frequency?
