Get Rich with Goji Berries

Get Rich with Goji-berries
‘Getting rich’ conjures all kinds of images full of cash falling in piles all around and servants fulfilling your ever wish. What about the richness that one feels when life is vibrant and the body is operating without issue? When the breath is deep and the moment is rich with opportunity, possibility and laughter? To many of us, the later type of ‘rich’ can be more satisfying than the material kind – especially if you have lived with lots of money and know what kind of challenges are inherent there. What if you could get that ‘rich’ feeling with something as simple as a small red berry called ‘goji?’ Goji berries, known as ‘red diamonds’ in China, have the potential to give one the experience of rich health, deep satisfaction and simplicity – things we all crave more of.

Grown all over the world in over 40 varieties, these tiny red berries have been eaten by Buddhist and Tibetian monks for ages, often times as their only source of food. The best goji’s are thought to come out of the Himalayan mountains and Tibet and are a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins, protein, fiber and complex carbohydrates. The antioxidants in these babies are out of this world – lending to the belief that goji berries extend life and even reverse aging in the cells. Some say that if you eat a handful of goji berries every day, you will live to be at least 100 years young.

Speaking of youthfulness, goji berries are abundant in l-glutamine and l-arganine, amino acids which stimulate the body’s production of the Human Growth Hormone – responsible for keeping us young and vital. How can you get richer than that? An abundant source of Vitamin C, goji berries contain 500 times more of this immune boosting vitamin than oranges. They also boast more beta carotene than carrots, more iron than spinach and could be argued as the most potent super food in the world.

If you are thinking about getting ‘rich’, perhaps a good place to start is by adding a healthy serving of goji berries to your diet and share them with a friend. They say whatever you give away, you get more of…and in this case the goji berries could easily represent an abundant attitude of prosperity and wealth. If you start your morning with a handful, you will most positively experience a very happy day. Before a workout, goji berries help to get the blood pumping and revitalize the circulatory system.

Goji berries really are in a league of their own, even in the superfood category, as they are simple to tote, delicious to munch and ounce for ounce are one of the most complete foods around. A handful of goji berries will satisfy any hunger attack in adults and children alike -helping bring about that rich and satisfying feeling that everything is more than alright! You can find goji berries, also called ‘Wolfberries’ at your local health food store or Asian market. They are a great addition to trail mixes and delicious on their own. Add them to soups and meat dishes or throw them in your smoothie for an extra kick. Get rich in health, attitude and fulfillment with goji berries today!
