Las Vegas: Shooting in Parking Lot Results in Homicide

*** UPDATE *** detectives seek three person of interest

On June 26, 2013 at approximately 5:10 a.m. LVMPD patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of West Bonanza Road to investigate reports of a shooting in the parking lot.

Arriving patrol officers located one male victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound. That victim was transported to the Las Vegas: Shooting in Parking Lot Results in HomicideUMC Trauma Center with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Officers also located a second male victim inside of a vehicle in the parking lot suffering apparent multiple gunshot wounds. That victim was also transported to the UMC Trauma Center and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel a short time later.

The investigation initiated by LVMPD Homicide detectives indicated both victims had been involved in a physical altercation in the same location earlier in the morning. The victims left the area but later returned. A verbal altercation between the victims and unknown suspect or suspects took place in the parking lot just prior to the shooting.

As of this release, no suspects have been identified. The identity of the deceased individual as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Las Vegas: Shooting in Parking Lot Results in HomicideLVMPD Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance identifying and locating three men in connection with this incident. Photos of all three subjects accompany this updated release. The first photo depicts subject one and two together.
Subject number one is described as a tall, thin black male in his early 20’s last seen wearing a white short sleeved button up shirt with red stitching worn over a red long sleeved t-shirt, red shorts and red shoes.

Subject number two is described as a tall black male, 20-25 years of age, last seen wearing a white short sleeved polo-style shirt with pockets on both sides of the chest, and blue jeans.

Subject number three is described as a black male adult last seen wearing a light colored, long sleeved button up shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball cap worn backwards.
