You know that part in a movie where the girl kisses the boy on the first date and says, “I never do this?” and then becomes a lioness on a piece of fresh meat? While that analogy will meld with Nick Jonas’ female fans, his tweeted selfie declared an innately shy caption of “I never do this but”… Healthy living and fitness update. Post workout picture. #diabeticinshape #2.0” The youngest of the Jonas brothers revealed a shirtless, ripped and toned physique for his followers, as the tour dates for the Jonas Brothers kick up into high gear.
Neil Patrick Harris is one funny actor! The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ actor took to Twitter to tweet his appreciation of the 20-year-old singer, “The more shirtless selfies @NickJonas posts, the better my day gets!” Millions agree and the picture has gone mega-viral with swarms of jaws dropping. Anyone else wondering if ex-love Miley Cyrus is chanting “omg!”
The brothers of three were slated to perform on the 19th to kick off their tour, but the weather had other suggestions in mind. There is also the theory that maybe Mother Nature was into a wet t-shirt look for Nick. Once mouths close from the shirtless and ripped photo of Nick, move your eyes over to his hashtag.
Nick found out in 2005 he was a type 1 diabetic, he shared his life of insulin shots with the world in 2007 at the diabetes event Carnival For a Cure. He wanted to feel comfortable enough before explaining to the public his condition. The heartbreak kid shared during that time that he wanted to teach younger kids not to be scared and to embrace their dreams, and never allow barriers to defeat them.
His fan base grew when he connected with parents and children handling the condition, stating “Don’t let it slow you down at all. I made a promise to myself on the way to the hospital that I wouldn’t let this thing slow me down and I’d just keep moving forward, and that’s what I did. Just keep a positive attitude and keep moving forward with it. Don’t be discouraged.”
The Jonas Brothers (Joe, Kevin and Nick) released their first record in August 2006 called ‘It’s About Time.’ Over a brief amount of concerts and time, the group is reportedly worth $30 million dollars to date. They have entranced the younger generation with their songs and became a national sensation. The brothers took a hiatus when life interfered, four years later they are looking to make a splash in the industry.
Earlier this month, Joe Jonas dropped a hint on Twitter that rumored a new album for the group to release, sometime this year. Suggestions point to it being called V or Five, if in Roman numeral interpretation. The brothers perform tonight at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina, and continue touring until August 13th.
The brothers have made leaps and bounds over the last few years, between Broadway appearances, marriage and performing solo albums, they are grouping together to make beautiful music. No definitive word on when their record will be released, but it’s possible more fans will be awaiting with Neil Patrick Harris on another selfie from Nick; shirtless, ripped, healthy and ready to pack their concert venues in August.
