RG III of the Washington Redskins was married this weekend, and also had his debut rap video go viral on YouTube.

This weekend has been a busy one for RG III, he finally married his longtime love Rebecca Liddicoat in Denver on Saturday night, and today announced a video posted to YouTube on March was actually the couple’s debut rap video.

A name that is constantly in the headlines, RG III made them today for a reason that has nothing to do with his return from a knee injury that ended his last season.

The second year quarterback has excelled at everything he has done so far in his life, except perhaps the music video below:

After listening to that song, I must admit that it is stuck in my head, however I think that the new couple may just wind up sticking to football instead of pursuing a music career.

The wedding was certainly more beautiful than RG III’s rapping abilities, and received incredibly high praise from Boxing Promoter Rock Newman, who was in attendance. “The best of America, that’s how I felt,” Newman said. “I just saw people, all ages, all ethnicities, all colors — white, black, Hispanic, Asian — really just enjoying each other. And I marveled at it. I just was filled with a sense of pride and optimism – optimism, man – because we live in fractured world. And that sense of any kind of division was not there.”

William Mallow, who has known RG III since junior high, and was a member of the wedding party said that “it was definitely more emotional than I was expecting. You could tell how much passion there is between them. It was definitely overwhelming, how much passion there was between them, and seeing the families getting along so well.”

Both families praised their love for each other. The marriage was beautiful, his rapping was not, all in all a pretty good day for RG III and CandyShopProductions, the name used to post the video to YouTube.
