A new Sunday Night Football bus will travel the country this season, visiting the city of each Sunday Night Football game, according to the NBC Sports Group. The announcement was made during NBC Sports Group’s presentation at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Los Angeles, California.
When will the Sunday Night Football Bus roll into YOUR city?
The Sunday Night Football Bus tour will begin with the Sunday Night Football opener – New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys – on Sept. 8. The Sunday Night Football bus will travel to all 17 SNF games arriving in each city two or three days prior to each game. The bus will also make stops at local landmarks and events in each market before making its way to the game site for a full Sunday at the stadium. The touring NFL bus will give fans the opportunity to interact with America’s most-watched primetime television show.
Then, as an added bonus, following each Sunday night game, the star(s) of the game will autograph “The Sunday Night Football.” The footballs will be displayed on the bus, and the football signed by the 2012 SNF players of the game will also be displayed on the bus alongside highlights of key performances from those games including Peyton Manning’s first win with the Broncos, and Drew Brees breaking Johnny Unitas record for consecutive games with a TD pass.
As if this wasn’t enough to whet the football appetites of fans, a photo of each 2013 SNF Player of the Game will be added to the SNF schedule display on the outside of the bus.
For the ardent high school football fans in each city the bus travels to, it will be on location when the SNF crew shoots a high school game each week for game clips to use in the telecast.
Social media will also be incorporated by the Sunday Night Football bus both inside and out. SNF’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts along with the #SNF hashtag will be displayed on the exterior of the touring SNF bus.
Then, once on the bus, fans and visitors can tweet and post photos of themselves in the broadcast positions occupied by Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth from a mock SNF studio.
Along for the ride will also be four SNF “Fans of the Week” chosen based on their social media activity, team pride and SNF fandom. The SNF “Fans of the Week” in each home market will be given a VIP experience that includes a trip on the bus and game tickets.

Also, SNF was the No. 2 show among Women 18-34, and Women 18-49 based on Nielsen live + same day data.
