38 Prisoners Dead After Attempted Prison Break in Egypt2
With all the unrest in Egypt, the military has arrested and killed many supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood as they continue to protest and clash with police.

It has been reported that at least 38 people were killed, most of which were connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, after taking a police officer hostage and trying to escape police custody. The event took place while the prisoners were being transferred to Abo Zaabal prison outside of Cairo, it was reported to Al Jazeera.

It is still unclear what exactly happened, but by reports the prisoners somehow took a police officer hostage in an attempted escape. However, other officers on the scene retaliated swiftly with teargas and guns killing everyone within the transport.
