Tezu is currently bracing for a 5.2 magnitude earthquake.

At the Earth’s surface, earthquakes manifest themselves by shaking and sometimes displacement of the ground. When the epicenter of a large earthquake is located offshore, the seabed may be displaced sufficiently to cause a tsunami. As seen many times, earthquakes can also trigger landslides, and occasionally volcanic activity.

Earthquakes with a magnitude of about 4.5 or greater receive several thousand such shocks annually and are strong enough to be recorded by sensitive seismographs all over the world. On the average, one earthquake of such size occurs somewhere in the world each year.

Magnitude measures the energy released at the source of the earthquake as determined from measurements on seismographs. The magnitude scale most commonly in use now is called the moment magnitude scale. The moment magnitude provides an estimate of earthquake size that is valid over the complete range of magnitudes, a characteristic that was lacking in other magnitude scales.

Intensity measures the strength of shaking produced by the earthquake at a certain location. Intensity is determined from effects on people, human structures, and the natural environment.

As seen below the town of Tezu is has more recently experienced multiple earthquakes ; they have had four earthquakes in the past year with three of them occurring today.

The increase of the intensity and frequency of earthquakes such as this is just another harbinger of the soon return of Christ to the Earth.
