Atlanta: Demetrius Morgan Charged with Homicide

Chicago: Wanted for Attempt Criminal Sexual Assault 18th District

UPDATE – On August 8, 2013, Demetrius Morgan, B/M, 05/13/96, was picked up by the Fugitive Unit, and brought to the Homicide Unit. He was charged with this homicide, and taken to the Ful. Co. Jail. He is the fourth person to have been charged with this homicide.

Zone 2 units responded to the listed location on a person shot call. The male victim was transported to Grady Hospital, where he died from several gunshot wounds to his torso. Homicide responded to the scene. At the scene, the victim’s wife said they had just returned home from a fast food restaurant. When she and the victim exited their car, several black males exited a vehicle on Lowe St., possibly a black Mustang, and approached them with guns drawn. They robbed the victims outside, and then ordered the victims into the house. As they entered the house, the male victim began to fight with the robbers. One of the robbers fired his weapon several times, striking the victim. The males then fled in their vehicle.
