Big Brother Contestant Sick Child Porn Joke Results in Police Investigation

The current season of Big Brother has certainly had more than its fair share of controversial moments. Racism reared its ugly head earlier in the series and now contestant Spencer Clawson has showed incredibly poor judgement, as well as bad taste, by making a sick child porn joke. His “joke” has resulted in a police investigation after his disgusting pornographic jest was captured on the show’s 24 hour CCTV feed to the internet.

Spencer Clawson is seen talking to two other Big Brother contestants. He says, “I like to beat off to child porn. Did I ever tell y’all about that? I love it. Beating off to child porn is my favorite thing there is.”

He continues his “comedy” riff to Amanda Zuckerman and Andy Herren and adds, “I love it when they’re around 3 or 4 years old. My favorite ones are when you can tell they’re in a basement.”

Herren looks decidedly ill-at-ease and says, “Oh God.” He then, mercifully, changes the subject.

Arkansas native Clawson had the police in his hometown alerted after his vile joke was aired and they have launched an investigation into his activities. So far they’ve not uncovered anything incriminating. Conway, Arkansas Police Department Chief AJ Gary told TMZ that, “The Conway Police Department was alerted to comments made. Due to the nature of the comments, our department moved quickly to look into the matter. At this time we haven’t found that any criminal act was committed.”

This is the second controversial incident on the Big Brother program this season. Spencer Clawson’s sick child porn joke must mark an all time low in the scale of poor taste and inappropriate conversation. On top of his “joke” resulting in a police investigation, Clawson must have fellow Arkansans cringing with embarrassment.

The CBS Network who broadcast’s the Big Brother program have issued a statement about Spencer’s behaviour, “Big Brother is a reality show following a group of people who have no privacy 24/7, and seeing every moment of their lives. At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by Spencer on the live Internet feed to be offensive.”

The statement continues, “Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on ‘Big Brother’, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking, and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program.”

CBS had to issue a similar statement after the racial slurs aired earlier by two more Big Brother contestants, Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman. They stirred a controversy with their filmed racially inflammatory conversation. The CBS Corporation president and CEO Leslie Moonves has revealed, “some of the [contestants] behavior absolutely appalling.”

Spencer Clawson is among the nominated Big Brother contestants who are up for eviction. His lapse of judgement and appalling sick child porn joke should result in his immediate removal from the house. He will also have to do some pretty fast talking to the police who have been investigating him after his remarks.
