Braves Fan Hospitalized After Upper Deck Fall

Atlanta- A Braves fan is in serious condition at a local hospital after falling from the upper deck of Turner Field during Monday’s game.

According to the Atlanta Fire, the fan fell roughly 30 feet around 8:30 p.m. during the Braves game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Atlanta Braves issued a brief statement regarding the incident:

“There was an accident earlier tonight at Turner Field with a spectator falling from the upper level. The spectator has been transported to the hospital. The Atlanta Police Department are investigating and we refer all media inquiries to them at this time.”

There is not yet any information regarding exactly what caused the man to fall from his seat at Turner Field, and his name has not been released.

The game has not been postponed, and is currently in the sixth inning. The Braves are trailing the Phillies by a score of 4-0.
