Britney Spears New Restaurant

Proud new Co-Owner of Meatball Spot in Las Vegas

spearsmeatball500Pop Star Princess Britney Spears, is getting back into the restaurant game, she is the proud new co-owner of a Restaurant called the Meatball Spot which is located in Town Square.

No word as yet if the Pop Princess Spears will be changing the menu but this famous restaurant will also be relocating and re-opening inside the Planet Hollywood, right next door to the PH Live Theatre currently being prepped for Britney Spears residency a  4,500-seat venue from its current 7,400-seat format that will be demolished and transformed with a cost of readying the space for Britney of $20 million.

Britney Spears was spotted back in March with her Manager Larry Rudolph and two other people, and was later joined by Boyfriend David Lucado and six more friends at this Las Vegas restaurant, now it all makes sense why she would have gone to this restaurant not just for dinner but also because she is the co-owner.

Wearing an orange crop top and leopard print Christian Louboutin stilettos, Spears enjoyed classic meatball sliders with mozzarella cheese and homemade mac and cheese, created by Top Chef star Carla Pellegrino.  For dessert, Spears ordered a Bananas Foster ice cream sandwich and sampled a birthday cake milkshake.

Carla Pellegrino was the face of the Meatball Spot when it opened in September. The partnership included Tom Racine and Charissa Davidovici.

“It was done very amicably. I fulfilled my contract,” Pellegrino said by telephone from Los Angeles.

“I’m trying to do other projects — a second Bratalian — and I wanted to focus on these,” she said.

In the mean time, the former Chef (and perennial Bravo TV presence) Carla Pellegrino has left the restaurant to pursue other projects.

This is Britney’s second major foray into the ownership, for those who are keeping track of Britney. The Dylan Hotel, her first Nyla with partner Bobby Ochs, was an ill-fated affair that opened up in the summer of 2002.  It closed after a short period of 5 months after it was revealed that the place had opened $350 000 over budget and Britney broke up with Justin Timberlake and abruptly nixed plans to sell the themed cocktail “Justini”, which was quite possible the only thing that could have redeemed the place.
