Chris Brown suffered from a non epileptic seizure while he was at a recording studio in LA early Friday morning. The paramedics were called to the scene but Brown refused treatment and also refused to be transported to the hospital. Brown’s rep told the press, “He was not hospitalized. His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES (Non Epiletic Seizure) to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity. ”
Earlier this week, Brown turned himself in to police authorities at a jail in Van Nuys, California. The 24 year old, who has been on probation since his 2009 assault on then girlfriend, Rihanna, recently had his probation revoked after a supposed hit and run incident. Brown spent only an hour in jail before he was released. No bail has been set.
The hit and run charges stem from an incident that took placed on May 21st when Brown allegedly rear ended a woman’s car in Los Angeles. supposedly Brown refused to exchange information with the driver and then fled the scene. In June the Los Angeles city attorney filed hit and run charges against Brown and also charged him with driving without a license. Brown will stand trial on August 15th.
Brown took to Twitter in June to defend himself against the hit and run charges.
“It’s not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous”
“I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene.”
“She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures.”
“My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism!”
“My profile pic is the pic I took of the persons car after “the hit and run”. NO damage. Just a dirty car. once again, I gotta clear my name”
This past Tuesday, Brown took to Twitter again to declare that his next studio album, X, will be his last.
“Don’t worry, mainstream America, after this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.
“Being famous is amazing when it’s for your music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I’m cool and over it!”
Following his 2009 assault of Rihanna, Brown was placed on 5 years of supervised probation.
