On Tuesday morning, surgeons at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, operated upon former President George W. Bush.
The 67 year old president had been suffering from a blockage in the heart, which he discovered during his annual physical examination at Cooper Clinic, Dallas, and all in all, a surgery seemed necessary.
Sources claim that he is now doing well and recovering from the procedure, and may be released from the hospital on Wednesday.
“President Bush is in high spirits, eager to return home tomorrow and resume his normal schedule on Thursday,” George Bush’s spokesman Freddy Ford, said in a statement. “He is grateful to the skilled medical professionals who have cared for him.”
George Bush, who has lived with his wife in Dallas since leaving the White House in 2009, is considered one of the most physically fit Presidents. He has often been seen constantly on the move; jogging, biking and exercising.
He has also been seen participating in golf tournaments, mountain bike riding and generally pursuing an active lifestyle.
“I love exercise,” he declared in a video for Physical Fitness Month.
The 43rd President is now doing great and on the road to recovery.
“He thanks his family, friends and fellow citizens for their prayers and well wishes,” spokesperson Freddy added. “And he encourages us all to get our regular checkups.”
Sounds like good advice! Thanks George Bush.
