Earlier this week, news reports swirled everywhere that pro basket-baller, Lamar Odom, husband of Khloe Kardashian, had gone-a-missing. For almost two days, his family and friends probably had three questions on their mind: Lamar, Where you at…What you doin…and Who you with?
According to reports, Odom had a heated dispute with his wife on Sunday, when she wanted to stage an intervention concerning his drug use. Sources confirm that Odom stormed out of the house – leaving no forwarding address. Although Odom thought his disappearing act was good, it wasn’t good enough. Because Khloe, being a true Kardashian, found him anyway.
The Kardashians, especially Khloe, have held their heads high amid rumors of Odom’s addiction to crack cocaine. But realizing that her husband’s drug-problem is not getting better, but worse, it was time to come clean. Last August, in an attempt to combat his addition, Odom reportedly checked into a San Diego, California rehab facility. Unfortunately for him, he did not complete the program.
Odom, who is no stranger to the limelight or the tabloids, has been the focus of much recent media attention. Allegations of illegal drug use and extra marital infidelities may have his wife wanting to rethink their young marriage even if she decides to ‘stand by her man.’
Recent claims that naughty Lamar has engaged in at least two extramarital affairs have been surfacing, resurfacing, and surfacing again over the past year. According to sources, Odom has engaged in a year-long affair with mistress number one, Jennifer Richardson, a raven-haired, 29-year-old whom he met at a strip club.
In her interview with In-Touch magazine, Ms. Richardson, spoke openly about her alleged affair with the NBA superstar. Richardson maintains that she met the 33-year-old ball player while he visited the club in January 2012. She also stated that Khloe discovered her affair with Odom that she had her followed. In her interview, Richardson told In-Touch that “They had private investigators following me for weeks. I was very, very intimidated and scared.” She also stated that “Lamar falls in love quickly. He told me he loved me.” (Click link below for full interview)
Mistress number two is said to be Polina Polonsky, a twenty-something year old attractive, Pepperdine Law school graduate. Ms. Polonsky, who is also a criminal defense attorney, is employed at Pensanti & Associates, a law firm specializing in criminal defense.
In her interview with Star Magazine, the attractive Polonsky alleged that she first started seeing Lamar Odom in June of this year, after they met at the Roosevelt Hotel. Polonsky candidly stated “I was under the impression that he had left Khloe, and that’s why he was living at the Roosevelt.” She further stated that, “He acted completely available and we definitely had a mutual attraction.” According to Polonsky, she and Odom consummated their union of infidelity on June 13 in her apartment. “After we had sex, Lamar stayed the night with me. The next day we went back to the Roosevelt. I stayed there with him for the next couple of nights.” (See link below for full interview.)
Although Khloe has vehemently denied the stories of her husband’s infidelities. The denials are proving themselves as truth on at least two accounts
Odom is a free agent in his professional life; and he has played ball for the Los Angeles Lakers and the LA Clippers. Now it appears as if he’ll be a free agent in his personal life as well, if things don’t change.
Even before marrying Odom in September of 2009, it appears that Khloe was aware of his roving eye, and had a pre-nup prepared just in case. According to the pre-nup , ‘should her husband dishonor his marriage vows that he would have to pay 500,000 for each year they were married, spousal support and allowances for shopping’.
Let’s face it, Lamar Odom is a wealthy man with an estimated worth of more than $56 million. As a result, should they divorce and he complies with the pre-nup, financially he may never feel the pinch. But in my opinion, he should feel the pinch of losing the love of a wife who loves him.
