As the world continues to be inundated with viral photos of Miley Cyrus’s gyrating on Robin Thicke’s crotch and wagging her tongue from her mouth at her recent performance, Liam Hemsworth, her on-again, off-again fiance, and his team finally speak up, and it’s not good. Hemsworth is embarrassed and “mortified” over Miley’s latest behavior at the VMA’s, emphasizing that he is a very professional actor with a career that can only get better…that is of course, if he can separate himself from Cyrus.
“Her VMA performance absolutely mortified him,” explains a friend of Cyrus’, “and he couldn’t be more embarrassed. He doesn’t really see anything sexy about what she did on stage.”
A source close to the actor also adds, “It’s not just Liam that Miley is pushing away, his entire team is urging him to part ways with her because she’s nothing but negative for his reputation and career.”
Having been part of six movies in just the past two years, Hemsworth is clearly focused and hardworking, building a presence for himself in mainstream blockbusters that he hopes will carry him on a long and successful career for years to come. Meanwhile, his fiance’s name is easy to find in titles about masturbation and “twerking,” to which Hemsworth doesn’t find amusing, explains a source: “It’s pretty much over. He knows he can’t stay with her when this is who she’s become. He doesn’t want to babysit her anymore. He has to move on.”
Starring in the film “Paranoia” with Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman doesn’t lend itself well to being known as the guy whose engaged to the girl who “twerked” all over Alan Thicke’s son. If you were wondering if Hemsworth has a bad-boy streak to match Cyrus’s wild and wicked ways, Harrison Ford sets the record straight in a recent interview: “It was great. He’s well prepared, he’s smart, he’s fun. He’s a nice person to be with. That’s a good start. And uh, I think he did his job with great charm as well. I’m very happy for him. He’s obviously going to do very well–he’s done very well already.”
With equal adoration for Ford and Oldman, Hemsworth reflected on their work together, saying, “It was definitely, ya know, I think we came aboard around the same time, and it was exciting to hear they’d be part of it but also a little intimidating as well.”
With four new roles already in pre-production for the coming year, Hemsworth will be working with likes of John Malkovich, Bruce Dern, and Billy Bob Thornton on “Cut Bank” directed by Matt Shakman–all very respectable and reputable names in the industry by whom Hemsworth no doubt wants to be associated with and respected by. But continuing a relationship with Miley Cyrus, who insists on revealing her body through explicit poses, and rubbing her own crotch while being watched by impressionable teenagers, Hemsworth knows that his career will be better off without her name tarnishing his own.
This soft-spoken, humble gentleman just might be wondering as much as we are: what happened to Miley? Fortunately, Hemsworth, who is albeit truly embarrassed to be associated with her, doesn’t seem distracted in his own career by Cyrus’ outrageous behavior. Only time will tell before their break-up is announced.
