Here’s a new one. You thought the only possible concerns in your drinking water were fluoride, chlorine and maybe some environmental toxins. Well, think again. Apparently, pharmaceutical companies are dumping psychotropic drugs such as benzodiazepine anxiolytic (oxazepam) – with side effects as severe as retrograde amnesia -into our drinking water. Wonderful.
It’s a good thing you have that all-powerful water filter, right? Or maybe you are one of the folks who can counteract any pollutant by simply believing it is so. Maybe you chant to your water like Dr. Emoto from Japan in order to turn unfriendly water molecules into healing crystals? Well, if you don’t fit into any of the last few categories, it might be a good time to start. How else are we going to by-pass all these crazy environmental happenings? Do we seriously believe that someone is going to magically clean all this stuff up? At this point, it may be safe to assume, there must be another way – like transcendance maybe? But seriously.
In a report released by Science magazine in February of 2013, it was stated that environmental pollutants from pharmaceutical company dumping was one of the major threats to our water supplies. The study stated:
Here we show that a benzodiazepine anxiolytic drug (oxazepam) alters behavior and feeding rate of wild European perch (Perca fluviatilis) at concentrations encountered in effluent-influenced surface waters. Individuals exposed to water with dilute drug concentrations (1.8 micrograms liter–1) exhibited increased activity, reduced sociality, and higher feeding rate. As such, our results show that anxiolytic drugs in surface waters alter animal behaviors that are known to have ecological and evolutionary consequences.
The known side-effects of ingesting even small doses of these drugs in your water are: impaired memory, dizziness, headaches, paradoxical excitement and retrograde amnesia – though not affecting transient global amnesia. Now, this doesn’t mean that if you have been drinking tap water that you ought to go and get paranoid about it. What’s done is done. There is no need to conjure paradoxical excitement over a simple suggestion. However, it may be wise to invest in some new skills, such as water filtration, prayer and charging your water with high vibrations. Really folks, with all the environmental threats, it’s time to take our health even more implicitly into our own hands.
It has been shown time and again that intention, prayer and directed thought can affect objects and experiences. Dr. Emoto’s water experiment is a perfect example of what is needed here -large scale. From Dr. Emoto’s website: “The result was that we always observed beautiful crystals after giving good words, playing good music, and showing, playing, or offering pure prayer to water. On the other hand, we observed disfigured crystals in the opposite situation.”
Here is a short video illustrating the power of intention on water:
Truth is, there is more in our water supply than we would all care to admit. Chemicals, drugs, radiation poisoning, and more – all offering a list of potential negative side effects from headaches to retrograde amnesia- present in your drinking water. What do we do about it? Filter your water and filter your thoughts. Now that you have the information, use it wisely- in the direction of holding the healing vibration of love and alignment, as opposed to conjuring fear and anger. If the times we are living in teach us nothing else, we must learn to become self-sufficient in our healing and self-empowered in our living. Let every drop of water be as the waters of eternal life.
