Bomb Blast in Charsadda

Charsadda, Khyber Pukhtunkhawa, September 27, 2013: According to Geo News Television Network, twenty people have died  while over thirty have sustained critical injures in a bomb blast, that took place in a bus carrying employees of the government secretariat, Peshawar. These employees were returning home after work. The death toll is expected to rise. According to the police sources, it was a crude improvised explosive device (IED), triggered by a remote control, that caused this bomb blast.

This is the latest, in a series of bomb attacks that have targeted innocent civilians in Khyber Puhktunkhawa, in the last couple of days. Last Sunday, eighty three Christians were killed and over hundred and fifty were seriously injured, in a twin suicide bomb attack on the one hundred and thirty years old All Saint’s Church, in Kohati Gate Peshawar..

It is ironical, that the militants have intensified these terrorist attacks as the federal as well as, the provincial governments are trying their level best to open up channels to bring the militants to agree to some formula, in order to stop these terrorist activities by the militants.
