Chicago:  Wanted for Robbery – Strong Arm on 18th District About These Crimes

This alert gives notice to the community in the 18th (Near North) District of strong arm robbery incidents that have occurred recently. In the reported incidents, the offenders approached the victims while they are walking down the sidewalk. The offenders then punched, pushed or threw victims to the ground. The offenders then demanded and took the victims’ personal property before fleeing. The offenders may possibly be driving a dark-colored, four-door vehicle (make/model unknown at this time). Incident times and locations are listed below:

400 block of N. Wabash Ave., on August 22, 2013, at approximately 1:30 a.m.
000 block of E. Illinois St., on September 13, 2013 at approximately 1:45 a.m.
000 block of E. Ohio St., on September 18, 2013, at approximately 11:00 p.m.
About The Offenders

The offenders are described as follows:

#1 Male black; 25-35 years of age; 5’08-6’00 tall; 150-160lbs; medium complexion.
#2 Female black; 25-35 years of age; 5’06-6’01 tall; 180-190lbs; long black hair; medium complexion.
What You Can Do

Be aware of this situation and alert neighbors in the area about the crime.
If possible don’t walk alone and stay in well lit areas.
Call 911 to report any suspicious person(s), vehicles(s), or activity in your neighborhood.
Call 911 and provide a detailed description of the offender(s) including any vehicle description and license plate information.
