Egypt: Israel Should Sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

Egypt Israel Should Sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

Addressing the UN General Assembly on Saturday, Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy argued that the entire Middle East region ought to pursue the goal of nuclear disarmament. In his comments, he also asserted that Israel – which is estimated to have at least 200 nuclear warheads in its possession – has continually displayed a “deliberate ambiguity” regarding its weapons. He called for the country to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty as well.

Foreign Minister Fahmy’s comments come two days after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani articulated similar thoughts, saying that Israel should join the treaty. He referred to nuclear weapon disarmament as “our highest priority.”

When you have the protection of the United States you can get away with murder, quite literally, Israel has broken more UN resolutions than all the other member states combined, they are breaking the law every day by occupying another peoples land and taking away their basic rights then they lie to the media that they are being threatened when it is them that is the aggressor and always has been, all of Israels neighbours feel threatened by them and their huge arsenal but nothing ever gets done about it

This is the stance every other nation should take in the UN; to stop the Jewish illegal and unjustified nuclear capabilities. Israel should declare its nuclear capable technology and its plants should be inspected; now it is being long non-debated topic or the UN should put sanctions. Israel has illegal capture of Palestinian land and Jewish lobbies are targeting Iranian nuclear program from many years to avoid attention to its program.

Israel is the country in Middle East which has constantly been opposing the regional efforts of establishing nuclear weapon free zone in the region. Israel with the support of USA is in efforts to develop nuclear weapons more and more and to be rebellious over the international concerns regarding its nuclear weapons program. If Iarael doesnot move towards NWFZ then having in mind the current prvailing situation in Syria, over all region would be engulfed with nuclear weapons and instability will be increased. So its the ire need of time that Israel should submit itself to Nuclear non proliferation regime and to make the region stable.

Israel must adhere to the NPT norms and also the world police (U.S) must also work on positive grounds if they really wants peace in the Middle Eastern region. Also this will help out to make the situations under control for the countries like North Korea and Syria-Iran. Israel must now get over with their nuclear ambiguity and stop showing Red lines to others.

For a long lasting peace in Middle Eastern region Israel should declare its nukes. Because the ambiguous Israeli nuclear policy is the real threat for the other states. If international community seeks for middle eastern arms free zone then Israel must be disarmed. because the other regional states feel threat from aggressive israel. There are many historical evidences where israel has threatened other states. It is the time to bring all regional states under the umbrella of NPT.

This is the need of the time that the entire Middle East should sign NPT and work in join hands to make the region as Middle East Nuclear Weapons Free Zone. This step should be initiated as soon as possible in order to avoid the Syrian treachery of use of chemical weapons. Iran instigated primarily for nuclear because of Israel covert nuclear program. Middle Eastern states viewed Israel with nuclear weapons as a big question to their security and even survivability. Israel’s role is much significant in disarmament policy. If Israel agrees on cooperating mode with other regional states, the prospects are very high towards achieving disarmament and Iranian nuclear solution. But Israel hostile statements very well reflect the state’s intentions themselves.
