Bruce Jenner’s marriage to Kris Jenner (family matriarch of the Kardashians) has been rocky of late, and both Bruce’s son, Brody, and Kris Jenner’s sister, Karen Houghton, have strongly suggested that the rumors that they will get a divorce after the end of the series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
In fact, Bruce’s son, Brody, even claims that his father and Kris aren’t residing in the same house anymorem and are just getting toegether in one house for the filming of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Brody in an interview with the UK’s Now Magazine this week stated that, when he was younger, he had an often strained relationship with Kris Jenner, but that their relationship has been improving.
He said that it “is getting better now.” Still, he has said that when he was growing up that he “didn’t see her that much and didn’t trust her intentions.”
It was in this same interview that Brody said that his father and Kris were no longer living in the same house together. Reportedly, Bruce is now living at a rental home in Malibu, and Kris is still living in Calabasas at the family’s mansion.
Brody still says that just because his dad and Kris are living apart doesn’t necessarily mean that they are going to get a divorce. He says that he stays “out of their business,” and, as far as he knows, “they haven’t split up.” His father grew up around Malibu, so Brody said that their living is separate houses has “nothing to do with them breaking up.”
Bruce Jenner has not, as of yet, filed for a divorce anywhere. Still, what Brody has said combined with Karen Houghton saying that Bruce already had a lawyer for the couple’s upcoming divorce, makes it sound as if their marriage will not last much longer.
Houghton has stated that she would “love to see them get back together.”
Together, Bruce and Kris’s combined worth is over $100 million, with Bruce having the majority of the wealth, at $100 million, while Kris is estimated to be worth $20 million. Their immense wealth and the property they have will likely make any potential future divorce a messy one, with a lot of details to be worked out. Whether they did or didn’t have a prenuptial agreement is unknown at this time.
Kris Jenner has repeatedly stated that “everything is perfect” between Bruce and herself, but they are living in different houses, Khloe also confirmed, in a televised interview.
Will the couple get a divorce? Rumors have been circulating that they are only staying together until Keeping Up with the Kardashians draws to an end. They are living in separate houses, and with Bruce having reportedly hired a divorce attorney, things are not looking very rosy for the future of their marriage, though there’s always hope that they will reconcile any differences they might have.
