The American Cancer Society estimates there will be a combined total of 381,410 cases of colon, breast and prostate cancer this year. That’s a huge number that doesn’t have to happen. There’s a good chance one can beat the odds.
The mainstream handling for cancer has been chemotherapy and radiation treatments and that has saved lives. However, we cannot rule out other ways that have worked very well and without all the pain and torture people go through with those traditional routes.
These three types of cancer all react to treatment in a similar way; what works for one will work for the others.
Some doctors recommend, for post-operative treatment, eating more protein such as cheese, nuts and soy. However, it’s best to find organic sources, especially soy which can be highly contaminated.
Tomato and grapefruit are also helpful because they contain lycopene.
Diet is a major handling, not only to prevent cancer, but to overcome an existing condition. The big no-nos are sugar, white flour and processed food. They go a long way toward creating cancer.
In their place should be as much green food as possible – mostly raw. Make tons of salads with lettuce, kale, spinach, broccoli, etc. Add also colored vegetables like cauliflower, colored pepper, etc.
Beta-carotene foods are important – like carrots, apricots and yams.
Fruits and nuts are super important, preferably fresh and raw. Organic food is super important, especially when Monsanto has their toxic paws into most of the food sold today.
Omega-3 is considered an incredible cancer fighter. The best animal-based source is krill oil, according to Dr. Mercola. It’s fairly expensive but in the end, it costs less because not much is needed compared to fish oil.
Krill also does not go rancid as fish oil does, although fish oil is very good as well. Both contain the ability to reduce cell growth, though krill oil seems to do it better.
Chia seeds and ground flax seeds are the best for plant-based omega-3; both are very powerful as cancer fighters. It’s important, however to grind the flaxseeds fresh and not keep them ground in the refrigerator. They go rancid very quickly and that’s not good for health.
Another reason flax seeds work so well is because the fiber in them binds with estrogen in the body and carries it out.
Two genes in the body called BRCA1 and BRCA2 act to suppress the growth of tumors. However, women who have mutated genes are at a high risk of cancer. Omega-3 is an aid to these genes and reduces cell growth.
Fresh, homemade vegetable juices are a powerhouse of nutrition against cancer because they go right into the bloodstream and are highly concentrated vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
So all these foods can definitely help to beat the odds against breast, colon or prostate cancer.
But that’s not all. The next major cancer fighter is exercise. Only three hours a week of walking, jumping on a trampoline or anything similar will reduce the risk of cancer by as much as 40%.
Any kind of exercise, preferably a bit vigorous, will drive insulin levels down which reduces cancer risk and it also kills cancer cells.
Infrared saunas have been very helpful by detoxing the body and decongesting the internal organs and improving circulation; generally it causes sweating which rids the body from the inside of harmful toxins, similar to the traditional sauna except it uses infrared waves. Some people claim they have cured their cancer with this method alone. It’s highly recommended, though, to incorporate all this advice into an anti-cancer program.
Even for people who already have cancer, doing all these things might even do away with it completely or, at least, prolong life.
Last but certainly not least is the influence of stress on the body. Studies show a stressful situation, especially extended, can indeed cause cancer. It can even prevent treatment from working. It’s important to handle life so stress is not a method of operation. Even just taking a walk and looking around can do enormous wonders for one’s spirit and general outlook.
Making use of these solutions can greatly help beat the odds of contracting breast, colon and prostate cancer and might even overcome an existing condition.
