Miranda Kerr Calls Time on Bloom Marriage

Miranda Kerr Makes it legal

It looks like Miranda Kerr has called time on her marriage to Blooms. The Victoria’s Secret model and Orlando Bloom made it legal on Thursday when they revealed that they were ending their three year marriage. E! News has reported that 36 year-old Bloom and his 30 year-old wife, Miranda have formally announced that the relationship was over.

Orlando Bloom’s rep spoke to USA TODAY and revealed that the former couple had released a joint announcement stating that the two had been “amicably” separated for several months before mutually deciding to end their six year relationship, that included three years of marriage.

The joint statement declared that the two might not want to be married to each other any longer but they would both work together as parents to their son. They also passed on that they would still “love and respect” each other.

Bloom, who first shot to fame in the 2001 film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, then reprised his role two further times in the following sequels. In between the first and second Rings sequel, he worked in the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. He played Keira Knightley’s love interest in the Disney film based upon a popular ride at the Disneyland.

Kerr, who was an Australian lingerie model and a popular Victoria’s Secret model, got together with the actor in 2007. The then went on to marry in 2010 and they had Flynn Jan. 2011. Their joint statement on Thursday says that Miranda and Orlando will be making it legal after their apparent “trial” separation.k Apparently, Miranda, despite the statement’s “uplifting” message of support, has called time on her marriage to Bloom.

Rumors were flying in 2012 that the celebrity couple were having problems. Sonia Copeland-Bloom, Orlando’s mother, denied that the couple were having issues. She spoke to the UK newspaper the Daily Mail and said the they were “fine.”

The rumors began when Miranda Kerr was spied without her wedding ring towards the end of 2012. This combined with the fact that the two were not seen together for months, led to the supposition that their marriage was in trouble.

They were seen at the after party for the opening night of the Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet on Broadway. Bloom played Romeo in the production. Since that sighting, the couple had publicly denounced any suggestion that their marriage was in trouble.

Miranda Kerr talked of Bloom’s debut on Broadway as Romeo and she told Broadway.com that she thought his performance was impressive and that she was blown “away” by his energy in the role. Orlando went on Live! and spoke about his Broadway experience, but the subject of his “ailing” marriage never came up.

Sadly for Miranda Kerr fans, now that she is a free agent, she will not be appearing in the annual Victoria’s Secret runway show in December. Kerr has explained that although she would love to be there, she has a scheduling conflict and will be in Asia when the fashion show airs on CBS.

Although fans will not be seeing Kerr on the runway for Victoria’s Secret hopefully her Asia trip will result in further sexy shots of the popular pinup. Until then, the former model for the lingerie giant has made it formal, Miranda and Orlando Bloom have called it a day on their marriage. Presumably, after their “month’s long” amicable separation they have decided to make it legal. Although the two have issued their joint statement, it seems that Miranda Kerr has called time on her Bloom relationship.
