Prince Harry is ready to propose. He will marry the beautiful dancer and model, Cressida Bonas, daughter of Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon. Prince Harry, fourth in line to the British throne, has been introducing the public to his beautiful girlfriend for a year. Engagement news is expected.
Cressida Bonas offers Prince Harry a grand, beautiful and prestigious family. Prince Harry would be marrying a young lady whose family has royal blood and whose lifestyle is well suited to his personality.
Prince Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, introduced the couple in May 2012. It was a sensible match given that Prince Harry and Ms Bonas are both socialites. Cressida, known to her friends as Cressie, had been overwhelmed by the idea of marriage but rumors abound of her acceptance of the idea. Now that Prince Harry is approaching 30, she needs to make a decision. In an interview with Katie Couric last May, Prince Harry was specific, “”I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young. I’m just waiting to find the right person, someone who’s willing to take the job.”
The job that Ms Bonas would inherit by marrying Prince Harry is one of social work and royal engagements. The likelihood of becoming wife of the King of England is highly unlikely since the birth of Prince George of Cambridge this summer. Prince William and Kate Middleton (Her Royal Highness Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge,) will likely have more children. Prince Harry’s line to the throne will become more distant.
Prince Harry still pursues a military career and enjoys all that life has to offer. His mother, Princess Diana, would have been proud of him. The world’s most famous bachelor actively supports a variety of charities that develop and mentor life skills in young adults and orphans. Now it is his personal life that he is looking to develop and he has repeatedly been photographed with the nymph-like Ms Bonas. In February it was on the ski slopes of picturesque Verbier, Switzerland and in June at the Glastonbury music festival. More recently the couple has been seen in London’s theater district and nightclubs.
The wife he is looking for will need to be flexible, focused, charismatic and a quick learner. Ms Bonas certainly has these skills. Cressida Bonas, now 24, attended Stowe School, a private boarding school in the rolling English countryside, near Buckingham. The school, the perfect environment for princesses, was previously a private home where royalty stayed, including Queen Victoria in 1845.
Ms Bonas went on to study dance at Leeds University. The 3 year program provided daily dance practice along with choreography skills. Graduates developed their passion for dance and developed skills to sustain a career in the dance industry. It is these skills, along with Ms Bonas’s unmissable beauty, that have been so appealing to Prince Harry. A dancer is necessarily able to learn, adapt and emote. Classical Ballet dancer, Sarah Jukes, blogs, “they know that how you set up a pirouette is vital for its final execution.” Ms Bonas is spinning towards engagement; the steps are small but certain. Prince Harry will marry a ballerina.
