Republican Party: Get Rid of the Wackos

House of RepresentativesIt’s Sunday, the day of public bashing of both parties in the media. This morning’s hysteria appears to center on two studies released by Democratic pollsters concerning the Republican Party’s path to destruction and loss of the House in 2014. Message to the Republican Party—Get rid of the wackos.

Who are the wackos? The Tea Party. These people have got to go. On the website they claim, “Our mission is to bring awareness to any issue which challenges the security, sovereignty or domestic tranquility of our beloved nation, the United States of America.”

For this group of law-abiding, church-going fanatics this includes gay people, the president, immigrants legal or not, women’s bodies and anything else they can stick their nose into and claim is tearing the fabric of the American way.

There’s news for these people. The American fabric, is, and always has been made up of people from other countries, people of different colors, people who speak different languages and have different sexual preferences. This is a fact. It’s part of the reason we are the finest country in the world. We are losing ground quickly and wack-a-doodle factions within the Republican Party are the reason.

Is it their purpose to replace all Republican values and take over the party completely? It will be a sad and ironic twist of events when bigots overrun the party of Abraham Lincoln.

Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” With the Tea Party’s stranglehold on the Republican Party, are we not venturing in that direction? The longer the Republican Party allows the Tea Party to dominate they will be good men and women doing nothing.

Democrats are salivating. Two polls released and pounced upon this morning say the Republicans are in danger of losing the House in 2014. There will be two seats up for grabs and according to their polling, Republicans fall behind in 17 head-to-head contests against a “generic Democratic candidate.” Is there such a thing? By the way, the liberal group, MoveOn.org, funded this poll. Surprising findings. The poll also cites respondents were against a government shutdown as a means to stop health care. When the question is presented as such, is there a liberal in the country who would not answer in that way? Again, astonishing findings.

In Bill Moyer’s column today, he lauds another liberal poll conducted by the Democracy Corps, a Democratic polling firm. These guys supposedly studied loyal Republican voters and became expert enough to comment.

Here’s what they conclude. Evangelicals make up the largest sector, Tea Party comes next and moderates make up only one quarter of the Republican Party. Amongst their beliefs are that Obama is a Marxist, gay rights threaten our country and Republicans in general are afraid of people who are not white.

Also, they suffer from a high level of paranoia and they worry that responding to the study will result in being spied upon by the NSA or finding themselves in the crosshairs of the IRS. Where are these Republicans and how is it, that in our daily rounds, we don’t run into these wackos?

It’s because they are not the Republican Party. They are not the people who go to work everyday, take care of their children, struggle with budgets and small business, accept other people and are proud to be Americans without the need to prove others are not. The everyman Republican, which is the heart of the party, is neither a mean, cold-hearted hater of the poor and oppressed nor a bigot who would not reach out a hand to help his neighbor. But if the party does not oust the Tea Party, that man may no longer have a voice.

Republican party: voters are begging you. Get rid of the Wackos.

An obnoxious grouping of ignorant, narcisscistic, religious extremist bullies. Tea
Party members are the American version of the Islamist Brotherhood. Send them back to school or give them lobotomies. Vote them out of government!

The tea Party are the same ilk that killed Jews in the 1930s and 40s. Same nasty, hateful type.

Boy is this a good article! Conservative voices need to be heard, but the Tea Party is the nastiest, most vitriolic bunch of fascists I’ve ever seen in politics, and that’s saying something!

“Is it their purpose to replace all Republican values and take over the party completely?” YES, and the reason for that is because their ultimate aim is to destroy the government and install one of their own, a very dangerous mix of religious extremism/theocracy and strict ‘everyone’s on their own’ libertarianism. No social fabric, no social programs, no social structure, ‘every man for himself, if you can’t do it, just die’ type of mentality.
