Next season already anticipated by fans of the series

 American Horror story 4th season

On November 6th FX announced that it will be continuing the American Horror Story franchise with a fourth season in the series. Those with a passion for the gruesome and oddities of the world are sure to be squealing excitedly at the news. Also, returning is the series key character Jessica Lange. Rumors were going around that the long time American Horror Story savant was going to retire, well breathe freely fans she didn’t give up on us! Though now it is rumored that THAT one may be her last, let’s hope not…again.

And though the third season is not even halfway through, season four is already in the works. As in past seasons viewers had to wait until the season end to find out what will happen next. However this time hints will be dropped during this season as to what the next seasons plot lines will be. Ryan Murphy co-writer of the series, already has a couple ideas forming. The plans are the last three episodes of American Horror Story: Coven will contain definite clues to the upcoming season. People have come up with a few speculative of ideas that they might like to see including a college frat setting, beauty queen, or something with a modern twist involving online murder.

As stated before returning to the fourth season of American Horror Story is Jessica Lange. Asked to return with her is Misery star Kathy Bates, no stranger to…well, the strange and unusual roles, she responded to being asked by sending the producers a basket containing plushies of disembowels organs. Yeah, I’d say she’s an asset to the show. Also returning, third season actress Angela Bassett, who admitted that she loves working on the show. Both newcomers to the third season, say they enjoyed their roles so much that they would like to stay on for the next American Horror Story season. There is no evidence of who else from previous series will be returning, or if  there will be any new stars to join the American Horror Story family. It will be exciting to see what the writers will come up with next to entice their audiences. However it works out there is no short supply of followers that will continue to wait with abated breath while looking forward to the next season, even though the current third season has yet to finish airing.

Fans have diligently followed the mini series since day one. The mini series took off with American Horror Story: Murder House in 2011. The FX channel no doubt hit the gory nail on the head when it picked up the mini series making it a multi million dollar franchise. So no worries bleak fans of the American Horror Story FX finally announced the fourth season if the franchise. It is here to stay for the duration along with our beloved Jessica in the fourth season. This is definitely not a show for the squeamish. There is no end in sight for those of us with a morbid sense of curiosity and who satiate it with our weekly American Horror Story fix.

Ms. Lange’s retirement talks were of a five year plan, which included the 4th season, which she’d already committed to, as well as a Broadway play and “1 or 2 movies”, so nothing has changed from what she had stated.
