Kansas City Chief’s prize pass rusher Tamba Hali had to be helped off the field in the game today with the San Diego Chargers.
Hali was injured during the previous play, although it does not appear that he was hit. Hali has nine sacks on the year and has forced four fumbles. He has a total of 34 tackles, 29 solo and one touchdown.
Hali is an integral part of KC’s defensive team, and he is currently on the sidelines being checked out by medical staff. It appears to be an issue with his leg. Frank Zomba has taken his place on the field.
A Tweet from @KCChiefs indicates Hali has an ankle injury and is questionable for return to the game. This information has been confirmed by the Chiefs medical staff tending to Hali on the sideline.
