Jennifer Lawrence Sizzles in Hunger Games: Catching Fire [video]

The Hunger Games: Catching FireJennifer Lawrence sizzles as Katniss Everdeen with the second installment in The Hunger Games Trilogy called The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Catching Fire is set to hit theaters this weekend; now there’s a final trailer showing off the excitement and action. This trailer skips the early portions of the movie and goes straight to the dangerous jungle.

The Catching Fire trailer reveals a movie that is staged to be the perfect sequel thriller like its predecessor. The movie has again cast Jennifer Lawrence as the heroic Katniss Everdeen; this time participating in the Hunger Games 75th edition in Panem.

Catching Fire opens with Katniss Everdeen having safely returned home after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with her winning partner Peeta Mellark. Having won means they went home only to turn around and leave their friends and family to go on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. It’s not long before Katniss senses that something isn’t right, but the Capitol is still under heavy control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games; one that could forever change Panem. This one is sure to impact the power structure of the already unstable government.

This seemed to be the role of a life time and when questioned about her interest in gaining the part of Katniss Everdeen, Lawrence said she saw more than just a role; she saw an opportunity to spark a revolution. She added that young women can never have enough positive images in movies.

Life has a way of dousing our dreams with cold water. We grasp a wave of momentum and almost immediately after we take off it seems that one problem after another surfaces and the fire of our passion starts to dwindle. It’s amazing how people immediately take opposition as a sign that they should stop instead of strive harder. The greatest blessings in life often show up disguised as labor.

If we learn to perceive what season we are in, we can ignite a flame that will propel us into our dreams. In fact, here are some great reasons for us to “catch fire” in our own lives:

It’s time to catch fire because life isn’t fair: If you’ve ever sat around waiting for life to give you a break, chances are you were terribly disappointed. You quickly found out life isn’t fair. Life rains on the just and the unjust. You cannot control that aspect of life but you can control your decisions about life. The moment you decide to move forward is the moment strength and wisdom spring forth from within. You can’t sit around and wait; it’s your responsibility to get up and make it happen.

It’s time to catch fire then spread the love: Too often groups of women are more likely to be contentious than those of men. Of course men have issues too, especially with their egos but they flow much differently. Imagine what we could accomplish if we could walk into a room filled with peers and feel nothing but affirmation, support and love. Together we could accomplish so much more. It’s time to spark a revolution of acceptance and love all around the world and bridge the gaps of insecurity; which is often described as hate. What a great time to catch fire and spark the right connections.

It’s time to catch fire with a disciplined life: In many circles discipline is a dirty word. Many have the attitude that discipline is a negative thing. There’s no way to be successful without it. We must learn the importance of sacrificing today if we ever plan to enjoy the life we really deserve. You can waste finances by shopping until you drop or you can choose to sacrifice and arrange you life in direct context of your finances. You won’t be able to manifest wealth until you’re disciplined in the area of money.

Katniss is athletic and very courageous. In the movie she manages to save the day over and over again. However, we quickly realized that real life isn’t always as glamorous. Life can be difficult, but no matter what the situation, we can tap into our internal motivation and literally “catch fire.” We may not be competing for the safety of all humanity, but our personal goals are just as important.

The Hunger Games; Catching Fire opens on November 22, 2013 with the original heroine Katniss Everdeen played by Jennifer Lawrence.
