It seems that Jennifer Love Hewitt managed something that very few celebrities do; a private wedding ceremony. Since the arrival of her daughter, a spokesperson for the star shared some news that fans were not expecting. She called Brian Hallisay the husband of Hewitt, indicating that there has been a rush wedding before the birth of their baby.
The first child of the couple, Autumn James Hallisay, was welcomed into the world on Wednesday November 26. However, at the time of the announcement, there was nothing mentioned about this apparent wedding. According to friends of the stars, they did marry in a private ceremony, accomplishing something that many celebrities would probably wish they could do.
When Hewitt was asked about impending motherhood a few months ago, she stated that she was trying to stay as calm as possible. Very level headed, she told US Weekly how all children are different, along with parents and that relationship between parent and child. She would wait until the arrival of her daughter before worrying about anything.
Hewitt and Hallisay met on the set of Love Bites, but met each other again when they starred opposite each other on Lifetime’s Client List. The show has since been canceled. They played husband and wife on the set, so have definitely had enough practice to succeed in real life.
Hewitt was never quiet about her want for a family over the last few years. She has had a couple of relationships since being on the set of Ghost Whisper; Jamie Kennedy from 2010 and Jarod Einsohn, who she broke up with just before starting to date Hallisay. She and Hallisay have been together since March 2012, and they announced the pregnancy and engagement in June this year. The 34-year-old star has been engaged before to Ross McCall. They dated for three years before they split up near the end of 2008.
There are now many fans questioning whether Hewitt has rushed a wedding just before the arrival of their daughter, and why she did not publically announce it.
No other details about her daughter were given; not even the weight. Hewitt was looking forward to becoming a mom. Her own mother died about18 months ago to cancer, and she wants to pass on the experiences and advice that she gained. Developing the close friendship and relationship with her daughter is also at the top of her priorities.
Hewitt has been in the spotlight since she was a child. She started off on the set of Kid’s Incorporated by Disney, and then moved onto Party of Five. She has also starred in Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel, and The Audrey Hepburn Story. Other accomplishments include being a singer-song writer and director.
The announcement of the private wedding has definitely been a shock to fans. However, there is more focus on the announcement of the arrival of their baby, instead of Hewitt and Hallisay’s seemingly rushed wedding.
